Requirements For Self Help Group Registration

3 proposed names for the Self Help Group in the order of priority.

Duly filled application form.

Minutes of the meeting seeking registration and showing elected officials.

List of members duly signed with Name/Position/ID No./Mobile No. and Signatures.

Self Help Group Constitution.

ID Copies of all members

Additional information

A Self Help Group should have a minimum of 10 members.

Members are required to attend a training on Self Help Groups and obtain a training certificate.This is done before the registration process starts.The members can choose to be represented by 2 or 3 members at the training

Members are also issued with membership cards once the Self Help Group is registered.

NOTE:

After Registration, the Self Help Group Must adhere to the following;

Renew the Certificate annually after the first two years of registration.

Submit Annual Progress Reports to the Director Social Development

Allow accessibility of records to the Director Social Development upon request or when demanded to do so.

Failure to adhere to the above requirements will result in Non-registration/Deregistration.
