Requirements For CBO Registration

3 proposed names for the company in the order of priority.

Duly filled application form

Minutes of the meeting seeking registration and showing elected officials.

List of members duly signed with Name/Position/ID No./Mobile No. and Signatures.

CBOs Constitution.

ID Copies of all members

Additional information

A CBO should have a minimum of 10 members.

Members are required to attend a training on CBOs and obtain a training certificate.This is done before the registration process starts.The members can choose to be represented by 2 or 3 members at the training.

Members are also issued with membership cards once the CBO is registered.

NOTE:

After registration, the CBO MUST adhere to the following;

Renew the Certificate Annually

Submit Quarterly Progress Reports to the Registering Authority

Allow accessibility of records to the Registering Authority upon request or when demanded to do so

NOTE: Failure to adhere to the above requirements will lead to Non-registration/De registration.
